Nick’s Story

Being sent elsewhere for care when PRHC didn’t have the facilities I needed made me realize the importance of bringing new treatments to our area. I became an ambassador to help make sure more patients like me can get the care they need, where they need it most.

Jennie’s Story

When I heard the words, ‘you have cancer,’ life as I knew it came to a halt. PRHC became my lifeline. Being treated in my community meant less worry and had a positive impact on my recovery. Now, I’m an ambassador to help ensure others can get the care they need, close to home.

Lisa’s Story

The ambassadors hope that by sharing our own stories, we can inspire others to reflect on their connections with the hospital. Each message on the Sharing Tree serves as a reminder of the care, compassion and support that bring us all together.
