We maintain a high degree of transparency and accountability in our fundraising and financial practices. PRHC Foundation is an independently incorporated organization, operated at arm’s length from the hospital with its own Board of Directors and audited financial statements. The Foundation is audited every year by an external auditing firm and we work hard to ensure fiscally responsible strategy guides our day-to-day operations.
The Foundation consistently meets or exceeds standards set forth by the Canada Revenue Agency and takes great pride in comparing our performance with those of other leaders in Canadian healthcare philanthropy. Transparency and accountability are central to our organizational values and the trust of our donors is paramount.
