About Us

Together we’re reimagining patient care at PRHC.

For more than 40 years, PRHC Foundation has worked with donors to fund the equipment and technology that form the foundation of patient care at Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

With the generous support of donors totalling more than $49.5 million towards the $60 million Campaign for PRHC since 2020 alone, together we’ve invested significantly across our hospital.

We’ve supported capital equipment and projects, patient comforts and programs, and staff education. We’ve brought lifesaving new services to our region, helped PRHC attract and retain expert doctors, nurses and staff, and responded to urgent pandemic needs. And we’ve broken boundaries and redefined what it means to be a “community” hospital, bringing “big city”, world-class patient care to our doorstep. 

But our work is far from finished. We believe our mission has never been more important. 

With a growing and rapidly aging population, increased patient volumes, and rising rates of chronic disease and mental illness, the need for complex care is increasing. Continued investment in PRHC, which is over 16 years old, is essential to address these challenges. Together we’re ready to help PRHC meet them head on.
