For more than 40 years, PRHC Foundation has worked with donors to fund the equipment and technology that form the foundation of patient care at Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

With the generous support of donors totalling more than $37 million in the last five years alone, together we’ve invested significantly in every corner of our hospital.

We’ve supported capital equipment and projects, patient comforts and programs, and staff education. We’ve brought lifesaving new services to our region, helped PRHC attract and retain expert doctors, nurses and staff, and responded to urgent pandemic needs. And we’ve broken boundaries and redefined what it means to be a “community” hospital, bringing “big city”, world-class patient care to our doorstep. 

Together we’re paving the way for the future of healthcare in our region while ensuring we can continue to take care of people who need lifesaving and life-changing care today.

But our work is far from finished. We believe our mission has never been more important. 

An at-risk, aging regional population, the emergence of high-tech, personalized care, a changing healthcare system, and global public health concerns mean there are challenges and opportunities ahead. The PRHC Foundation is ready to help PRHC face them, whatever comes.
